Pet-Friendly Airbnb Finds: Life is a Beach!

After I had immense fun with the Airbnb listing called "Anilao Romantic Getaway" seen in this post, hooman 2 booked another listing in the same compound/ area aptly named "Life is a Beach."

This one was truly beach front (not just beach facing) and had a bigger space that comfortably housed 5 adult hoomans, 1 tiny hooman and 1 lovable doggo (me!).

So, how was it? Did hooman 2 match my Airbnb booking skillz?

The Place: This 1 bedroom loft was ginormous (note that I have condo-dog expectation levels).

That view though...

Although we did not have the whole area to ourselves as some common spaces were shared with other Airbnb-ers in the same building (e.g.  the beach and the wide-space veranda where you can grill food items), we had loft #3 all to our selves.


It had its own kitchen, toilet & bath, as well as a spacious open concept living and dining area that flows into the small veranda that you can access via the huge floor-to-ceiling windows. There you are greeted by the warm Batangas water!

Big enough fridge and a water dispenser that is so nifty, dispenses hot and cold water which you can control the temp!

The Room: Up the stairs you enter the bedroom loft, which looks very basic when you first enter it...

But then, you pivot to face the view, and OMG jaw drop.

Boom! VIEW.

The People: Same folks we met the last time in this listing (see here), Ate Sarah and co helped us in bringing our stuff to the loft. And since the space was shared with other visitors, I also made some fur-friends!

1. Not wheelchair or old hooman accessible, HOWEVER, you also have the option to take a boat to the Airbnb, ask the listing owner before booking so you can avail that service. For free!

2. Given the minimalist, modern aesthetic of the space, the verandas of each of the loft units have no partition so my hooman 1 had a gay old time chasing me from one unit to another

3. Since it is a boat-ride away from civilisation (5-10 mins only though), make sure you have all that you need for a comfy time with you when you get there. 
4. Bring your aqua shoes, sand is not fine but the rocks are gorj!
