Pet-Friendly Metro Manila Finds: Ayala Triangle Gardens

Being a condo dog is not the best... I have limited play space at home and my private outdoor space is as small as a closet-sized veranda.

That's why my hoomans often take me to walks at a park just a stone's throw away from home, at Ayala Triangle Gardens!

It is huge, has loads of trees and grass area to get muddied, and best of all.. it is free!
My OMG OMG we are going to Ayala Triangle Gardens face

For Doggos & Hoomans: The 2 hoomans and I have made Ayala Triangle Gardens our backyard ever since I was a little pupperoo.
Look at me so tiiniiie-tiny, my dark patches have yet to fade back then
We do loads of stuff here together, here are just some of them:

1. RUN, RUN, RUN!
I looove feeling the grass on my paws as I run around the open greenness that is Ayala Triangle Gardens.
"Come on and get me, get me, get me, baby am yours, come on and get me."
And when I get tired, hooms (if they are being good), would usually bring me my portable water container so I can quench my thirst while the hooms will sit down on the grass and catch her breath.

2. STREET MEET
Sometimes, the good ol' folks in Make It Makati will do a "Street Meet" event and invite vendors to sell their yummy goods and musicians to entertain hoomans and doggos alike.
The last one happened just last 03 Dec, there was a huge, fun crowd! There wasn't a lot of walking space though so hooms had to carry me around like a purse.

We left early. LOL

3. FREE EVENTS!
My hooms are perpetual cheapskates. They wear it like a badge of honor. That is why when they get to go to free events or activities, their eyes light up like lanterns. I, on the other hand, looove any sort of activity that gets me out of the house. #layas
One of the many free events at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, a book fair!
BOOOOOOKKKKSSSS!
Just check out the upcoming events in Ayala Triangle Gardens via the Make It Makati FB page.

4. RESTAURANTS GALORE
There are a number of resaurants lining the side of the Ayala Triangle Gardens, right along the side where The Blackbird at the Nielson Tower is located. Our faves are Omakase (huhu now defunct), Banapple (hooman 1 loves their Banofee Pie) and Kanin Klub (that Crispy Dinuguan is love). Hoomans would eat al-fresco and I'd have my own feast, they will bring my fave traveling bowls so I get to enjoy food outside as well.

5. LIGHTS AND SOUNDS SHOW
From November to January, the Ayala Triangle Gardens hosts a lights and sounds show and this year, the theme is Disney! They call this year: Reimagine the Magic: A Festival of Lights and hooman 2 had goosebumps when she heard all the music in this year's iteration of the lights and sounds show.

Come through lights and sounds!
My Christmas sweater on point!
The lights and sounds show for this year (um, well for the 2018 - 2019 run) will still be here until 8 Jan 2019. It runs every 30 minutes from 6pm to 10pm Manila time.

Pup-pup Tips:
1. Make sure you ask your hooman to bring your dog carrier or stroller with you if they feel like taking you to the more crowded events (e.g. item #2 and #5).
2. Portable bowls for water and nom-noms!
Life hack: Forgot this? Buy the Family Mart water (not sponsored, but should be), the cap is huge and can be used as a doggie bowl. Then take the bottle and cap home to recycle 'coz mother nature needs us.
3. If you choose to do activity #1, bring a picnic mat so you can rest on the grassy area after a looooong and tiring run. Lazy hack: Forgot this? Buy newspapers from the Family Mart, then take them home to recycle 'coz again, mother nature.

How to Get to Ayala Triangle Gardens?

Pup-pup rating: 4 stars. It really is a space for hoomans, that allows doggos to be there and enjoy. :)

P.S. Happy new year to all my hooman and doggo luvs! 2019 is going to be super fun for all of us, my tail is wagging so hard 'coz it feels the goodness and happiness of this year soooo much!
